We would like to invite you to come to France and experience the French country way of life, and stay at our Bed and Breakfast. If you want relaxation, no stress, a break far from the maddening crowd in pleasant surroundings this is for you.

We provide bed & breakfast for those who just want a place to lay their head whilst following the holiday in France they have planned. Evening meals are available if you give 24 hours notice. At La Maison Crème you decide.

Whether you want to spend you holiday sight seeing, fishing, walking on many of the planned walks, visiting a chateau, cycling, looking for a property to buy, going to the Puy du Fou (famous extravaganza in the Vendee - not to be missed), or just relaxing breathing in the country air - this is the place for you.

LOCATION: La Guimbardiere is in a small hamlet just outside La Caillere. We are 20 minutes from Chantonnay to the west; Vouvant and the Mervent Forest are 15 minutes east. Fontenay-le-Comte is 20 minutes south. The beautiful Vendee beaches, such as Les Sables d'Olonne, and La Tranche-sur-Mer are under an hour on good roads, as is the beautiful port of St-Gilles-Croix-de-Vie.

The beautiful port of La Rochelle, and its international airport, is under an hour away.
